PSNJ’s Next Movement marks the most significant turning point in PSNJ’s history - a once-in-a-generation opportunity and investment to build on everything we’ve accomplished and intentionally shape what comes next.

The Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey is built by dedicated volunteer musicians and a passionate community. While the musicians give their time, producing professional quality orchestral concerts still comes with real costs - from venues and guest artists to music, insurance, and essential operations.
The Next Movement is a time-limited, once-in-a-generation campaign to raise $250,000 and strengthen the orchestra’s foundation for the long term. This effort supports today’s concerts while also building lasting financial stability, so the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey can continue bringing live orchestral music to South Jersey for the next generation and beyond.

The Lifetime Subscription provides admission to PSNJ’s regular concert season for life, as a way of honoring a lasting connection to the orchestra and its music.

What is the “Next Movement”?
After more than three decades as a volunteer-led organization, the Philharmonic of Southern New Jersey is entering a new era with the hiring of its first-ever full-time Executive Director.
This milestone marks a fundamental shift in what the orchestra can achieve. With dedicated, year-round leadership now in place, PSNJ can look beyond a single concert or season and focus on long-term growth - expanding artistic and educational initiatives, deepening community engagement, and building lasting financial strength.
The Next Movement exists because this moment creates new possibility. The $250,000 raised through this campaign is not about maintaining what already exists; it is about investing in the structure and momentum needed to grow thoughtfully and ensure that this orchestra continues to thrive for the next generation and beyond.
